ABOUT.

Hi, I’m Alex Zerman, a photographer based in Brooklyn, New York. I’ve always been drawn to the stillness in fleeting moments—the way light hits a building just before sunset, or the quiet of a landscape. Photography, for me, is a way of pausing time and holding onto that feeling.

I love to travel, and much of my work is inspired by the places I’ve wandered—both close to home and far away. Whether it’s a sweeping vista in Iceland or a tucked-away corner of a city street, I’m always chasing that sense of presence—a moment that feels both grounded and extraordinary.

My work often explores the tension between human scale and urban scale. I like to frame small figures within vast architectural environments to highlight the drama, grandeur, and quiet emotion of the spaces we move through every day.

All prints are produced in collaboration with The Print Space, a professional fine art lab based in London. They specialize in museum-grade Giclée printing—a process that uses archival pigment inks for incredible tonal range, sharpness, and long-lasting color. Each image is printed on Hahnemühle Photo Rag, a 100% cotton paper with a beautifully soft, matte texture. It’s a favorite among photographers and galleries worldwide for its rich detail and timeless feel. Each piece is made to last, with rich detail and beautiful tone, packaged sustainably and shipped with care.

My hope is that these prints bring a bit of that feeling—of stillness, of connection—into your space. Thanks so much for stopping by.
